Lisa Tarpley, LCPC

Lisa joined Cedar Ridge Counseling Centers in 2017. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) & National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) with extensive experience working with individuals and families in outpatient mental health clinics. Lisa’s experience includes working with clients who suffer from anxiety disorders, panic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD), depression, mood disorders, anger management, and adjustment disorders. Her work also includes helping families work through relationship and parenting issues, behavior modifications and emotional disturbances.

Her integrative or holistic approach to treatment blend elements from different therapy approaches and tailor treatment according to each client's needs. Approaches includes cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy and reality therapy. Lisa believes in helping individuals and families improve their own sense of self, understand the power of choice and live harmoniously within their environment and with others. 

Lisa obtained her Masters in Clinical Counseling Johns Hopkins University in 2010. She obtained her LCPC in September 2015. She is also a certified counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors.
