Tanya Lloyd, LCPC, ACS


Tanya Lloyd graduated from Howard University with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology, specializing in child and adolescent psychopathology. She has been providing therapy services more than 8 years and clinical supervision for graduate licensed professionals for 4 years. Additionally, Tanya serves as a guest lecturer at Montgomery County Community College, Rockville and Takoma Park campuses. 

Tanya provides individual and family therapy utilizing an eclectic therapeutic approach with children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment approaches are geared to address trauma, grief/bereavement, anger management, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, relational, social, and interpersonal conflict. Treatment services offered include education, cognitive-behavioral techniques, play and expressive therapies, solution-focused techniques, and trauma focused interventions.

Tanya has availability on Mondays in The Pediatric Center in Columbia and Tuesdays in Primary Pediatrics in Laurel.
