Judith is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is certified through the American Nursing Credentialing Center, and has over 13 years of nursing experience in providing quality care to patients. She is experienced in providing psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan including children, adolescents, and adults. Judith believes that applying evidence-based treatments and forming a good rapport with patients and their family is vital in formulating an effective treatment plan. She is experienced and skilled in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders such as Depression, Adjustment disorder, Anxiety disorders, Panic Disorders, Substance abuse, Schizophrenia & Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar disorders, Eating disorders, and ADHD.

Judith is a lifelong learner and has earned 2 Master’s Degrees. She received her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a Master of Science in nursing from Walden University. She has a passion for educating her patients and focusing on mental health advocacy through health awareness.

Sasha Nanji, DNP, PMHNP-BC specializes in medication management with an emphasis on holistic and patient centered care. Dr. Nanji aims to develop therapeutic relationships with her patient in order to provide the best treatment for the patient. Dr. Nanji is empathetic and works with patients to achieve their goals. Dr. Nanji educates patients about all treatment options available to ensure they make informed decisions. Dr. Nanji can also collaborate with your therapist to ensure that your needs are being met.

Dr. Nanji is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who provides psychiatric care to patients ages 18 and older with a variety of mental health illnesses. Dr. Nanji has practiced in an array of different settings including inpatient psychiatric units, emergency departments, day hospitals, outpatient clinics, and substance use.

Dr. Nanji has a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in psychology from Dartmouth College in 2013 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from University of Rochester in 2015. She worked as a registered nurse for 5 years on an inpatient psychiatry unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She graduated from the University of Maryland Doctor of Nursing Practice program specializing in psychiatric and mental health in 2020. Upon graduating, Dr. Nanji completed an adult fellowship program at University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Nanji has been working at Cedar Ridge Counseling Centers, LLC since 2021.

Amy Arbaugh Martin is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) with more than 20 years’ experience in primary care and mental health. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Currently, Amy is treating ages 18 and over, specializing in medication management for a variety of mental health issues such as, but not limited to:

  • Depression

  • Attention Deficit

  • Mood disorder

  • Sleep disorders

  • Anxiety

  • Addictions

  • Schizoaffective disorders

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders

Amy earned her bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing at University of Maryland in 1990. She then obtained her master’s degree in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner at University of Maryland in 1996. Shortly after obtaining her master’s degree, she earned a Post -Masters Certification at George Washington University as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1998. She is Board Certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner and holds an active license with the Maryland Board of Nursing.

Professionally, Amy has experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings. For more than 20 years, Amy has provided mental health services in Primary Care offices, addiction treatment facilities, detention centers, hospice and palliative care offices and health departments. Her focus has always included mental health treatment as she incorporates it into the well-being of each patient’s overall health.

Amy was born in Carroll County and currently lives there with her husband and children. She loves the outdoors, camping, watching her children play sports and reading a good book
