Amy Arbaugh Martin is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) with more than 20 years’ experience in primary care and mental health. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Amy earned her bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing at University of Maryland in 1990. She then obtained her master’s degree in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner at University of Maryland in 1996. Shortly after obtaining her master’s degree, she earned a Post -Masters Certification at George Washington University as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1998. She is Board Certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner and holds an active license with the Maryland Board of Nursing.
Professionally, Amy has experience working with diverse populations in a variety of settings. For more than 20 years, Amy has provided mental health services in Primary Care offices, addiction treatment facilities, detention centers, hospice and palliative care offices and health departments. Her focus has always included mental health treatment as she incorporates it into the well-being of each patient’s overall health.
Amy was born in Carroll County and currently lives there with her husband and children. She loves the outdoors, camping, watching her children play sports and reading a good book
