Maura is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with experience in outpatient clinic and school settings working with adults, teens, and children as young as four. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from McDaniel College in 2013 and a master’s degree in Counseling from Loyola University in 2016.
Maura has experience working with clients struggling with a wide range of issues, including anxiety and phobias, mood disorders, ADHD, OCD, and trauma, as well as those struggling with self-esteem, behavioral problems, anger management and relationship issues. She specializes in working with children and their families and has additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Maura believes in creating an open, judgment-free environment where clients can feel comfortable and safe discussing and working on any issues they are struggling with. She focuses on cognitive-behavioral and strengths-based techniques but tailors treatment to meet each client’s individual needs and goals.
